Carebeef delivers 100% grass-fed beef from cattle that have been raised their entire lives exclusively on regenerative pastures. Our cattle sustain a grass-only diet and are free from hormones, grains, and antibiotics. Our approach aligns with regenerative agriculture practices, enhancing soil health, carbon capture, water conservation, and biodiversity.
We raise our cattle in grass-fed environments. This involves managing both the animals and the forages they consume to ensure optimal health, nutrition, and environmental sustainability. Here's a quick overview of the practices we've established:
Our cattle are raised in open environments, never confined to feedlots. They have access to open pastures and natural grazing areas, which allows them to roam freely and engage in natural behaviors such as grazing and foraging. Grass-fed practices typically result in leaner cattle and higher-quality meat due to their varied diet and increased physical activity. We avoid chemical fertilization, instead utilizing natural fertilization from cattle manure.
At Carebeef, our cattle are raised without added hormones. We manage each animal's health carefully, ensuring that no hormones are administered. We believe that consuming beef from hormone-treated cattle can pose significant risks to human health. Therefore, we are committed to raising our cattle without hormones.
We do not add antibiotics to our cattle. At Carebeef, we are aware that consuming beef from cattle treated with antibiotics can harm human health due to the potential development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. If it becomes necessary to treat any cattle with antibiotics as per veterinary requirements, we segregate them and they are sold to conventional feedlots.
